Vegetable Garden 2011: Spinach

As some may recall, I have a plot in a community garden for my building. This year, I tried to grow spinach- and it turned out AWESOME!!

Coombs, BC

Kathy and I took Z. to Coombs yesterday! It's famous for goats on the roof. Unfortunately, all we saw was 1 goat :(! But with lots of food and ice cream to be had (and a bit of shopping), it was fun nonetheless!!

Baby Craft: Thank You Cards!

So, I made all my Thank You cards for all the wonderful baby gifts Z. received! Don't be too impressed, I made them in the month of vacation/ maternity leave I had before Z. was born!!!

My Deal With Mass

SO, my Father-In-Law is an avid fisherman. We are visiting now, and he went out fishing the other day with a neighbour. The rumour around here is that he has never caught a fish in Campbell River... so I made a deal with him... if he caught me a fish, I would eat some ( I am a pretty strict vegetarian)

Well, didn't he go and catch an 18 lb. salmon. Kathy, my Mother-In-Law cooked it up that night and I had a bit!!! I have to say, it was pretty delicious.
